TWB partner of “Industrial Biotech” at Expoquimia

TWB supports “Industrial Biotech” at Expoquimia that is a new partnering event taking place in Barcelona (Spain) on 2-6 October 2017. Pierre Monsan is on the Advisory Committee.

Held in the framework of Expoquimia, the International Chemical Event, Industrial Biotech has been conceived as a meeting point for innovative start-ups and industry players from several sectors —chemical, energy, pharma, food, cosmetics, plastics, textile…— that can take advantage of new biotechnology developments.

The program includes a two days seminar that will gather experts from industry and academia to discuss about issues such as “Fostering the use of bioprocesses and biocatalysis in traditional industries: lights and shadows”; “Sustainability, new life for industrial and organic waste and circular economy”; “Health and Industrial Biotechnology”; “Biofuels and biochemicals”; or “The role of politics: fostering Bioeconomy in Spain and Europe”.
