Success for “Hey, start me up!”

130 professionals from 11 countries met in Toulouse for the international “Hey, Start-me up!” event, organised by TWB.

The industrial biotechnology sector event (1st edition – see programme) was the opportunity to bring together start-up firms, companies, structures for innovation and investors.

The objectives of the day were achieved: to present the European biotechnology ecosystem, host organisations and start-ups funding sources, to give advice to start-uppers, to exchange views on the life-cycle stages of start-up companies, to reward a promising burgeoning company and to cultivate the biotech network.

The day’s success proves that biotech is indeed a sector of the future. Start-ups are promising…
