Focus on industrial partnerships
Laurie Rey has joined TWB in February 2018 as Head of Industrial Partnerships. Her mission is to develop TWB in France and abroad and to consolidate the TWB consortium. She is working directly with Michel Manach, Director of Industrial Partnerships. Laurie Rey is a member of TWB executive cell, its strategic and managerial body.
Laurie Rey has a solid commercial experience and a good knowledge of the industrial, academic and institutional ecosystem. She spent 7 years at Alcimed (consulting company in innovation and new market development) where she was in charge of the development of the life sciences / public policies activity and in charge of projects.
She also has over 4 years experience in research. Laurie Rey graduated from INSA Toulouse (France) and completed her thesis at the Institut de Pharmacologie et de Biologie Structurale in Toulouse. Then she joined the MRC Laboratory of Molecular Biology in Cambridge for a post-doc.
TWB is currently recruiting a Junior Industrial Partnership Manager. This new resource will allow TWB to serve its development with a growing number of R&D contracts and industry partners joining TWB. In particular, the Junior Manager will promote and develop the service portfolio of TWB technical platforms.
After 6 years of operation, TWB has 46 members in its consortium. 65 industrial R&D contracts were signed for a cumulative amount of €20.8M over the period.
