Alain Marty appointed Chief Science Officer at Carbios

Alain Marty, professor at INSA Toulouse (France) and researcher at LISBP (Laboratoire d’Ingénierie des Systèmes Biologiques et des Procédés), was appointed Chief Science Officer at Carbios.

Since the founding of TWB, Alain Marty is working with TWB via INRA in the THANAPLAST project. The objective of this project over a five-year time is to replace conventional chemical processes by biotechnological ones, to produce a new generation of biodegradable plastic with a programmed life cycle.
